1.Broncos get Drew Lock signed ahead of ca... (Rotoworld) Broncos signed second-round QB Drew Lock to a four-year, $7 million contract. Analysis: Lock was holding out for an above-slot signing bonus, but the Broncos didn't cave and got a deal done on the eve of training camp. This comes just a day after fellow second-rounder OG Dalton Risner signed. Joe Flacco is Denver's Week 1 starter, but Flacco's leash could be short if Lock can put together a strong preseason. It won't be surprising if Lock makes rookie year starts.1 day
2.Broncos second rounders could hold out (Rotoworld) 9 News' Mike Klis reports Broncos second-rounders QB Drew Lock and OG Dalton Risner could hold out into camp. Analysis: Risner and Lock were taken back-to-back in the second round, which is apparently the reason for the contract impasse. Lock is looking for a "quarterback premium" on his rookie deal, but Risner does not want to accept a smaller contract than the one signed by a teammate taken one pick after him. Even his late-season TD outburst left... (More)3 days
4.Robert Foster: Expected back for camp (RotoWire) Foster (foot) should be a full go for the start of training camp, Nate Mendelson of the Bills' official website reports. Analysis: Foster missed part of June minicamp with a foot injury, but competition for snaps is his larger concern after the Bills signed John Brown and Cole Beasley (abdomen) during the offseason. With Zay Jones (undisclosed) also still around, the team has four wide receivers that can make a decent case for regular playing time.3 days
5.Ex-GF seeking child support from Tyreek ... (Rotoworld) Tyreek Hill's ex-fiancee Crystal Espinal has filed a petition saying he is the father of her recently-born twins, and that she is seeking full custody. Analysis: Espinal is trying to establish "supervised parenting time for (Hill) and child support." It's just the latest development in the pair's ongoing saga of legal issues. Espinal's friend released audio in April that seemed to implicate Hill in the physical abuse of the duo's son, though a longer recording released earlier this week actually had Hill denying the charges, as well as the 2014 allegation that he abused Espina...
